Practice VGC battle puzzles that train best-move decisions on real boards.

Battle Puzzles gives players a board state, multiple playable options, and feedback on why one line is best. It trains sequencing, positioning, targeting, and consequence reading.

Best move practice Board reads Sequencing

This mode will teach you:

  • how to pick the best move when two lines look fine
  • when Protect is the only winning play
  • how to target the right slot in doubles
  • how to read a KO range on the next turn
  • how to play around Protect and Tera
  • why the safe-looking attack still loses sometimes

What This Mode Trains

  • Compare strong-looking options and find the line that truly wins the turn.
  • Read KOs, positioning, and follow-up consequences.
  • Learn why a safe-looking move can still lose momentum or resources.

Why It Matters in VGC

  • Real VGC turns often offer several plausible choices.
  • This mode trains decision quality, not just rule recall.
  • It is one of the clearest bridges between knowledge and live play.
Example

A move may secure damage now but lose to Protect plus Spore. Another move may cover the likely line and win the next turn. Battle Puzzles trains that difference.

Is this useful for advanced players?

Yes. Advanced players still benefit from more reps on board evaluation and line comparison.

Does it only test one-turn tactics?

No. Many puzzles teach a one-turn decision by showing the next-turn consequence that follows.
